The 2026 Mercedes-Benz G-Class MBS Edition brings together the unmistakable character of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 with an MBS Gewinner four-seat conversion focused on rear passenger comfort, personalisation and a more individual cabin experience.
Based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63, this G-Class combines a handcrafted 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine with AMG performance hardware, while the MBS conversion transforms the rear cabin with two individual seats and a dedicated centre console.
AMG V8 Performance
At the heart of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 is a 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine producing 577 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered through the AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9-speed transmission and AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive.
The G 63 reaches 0-60 mph in 4.2 seconds, giving this four-seat G-Class the performance expected from an AMG model while retaining the distinctive design and character of the G-Class.
MBS Gewinner 4-Seater
What sets this G-Class apart is the MBS Gewinner four-seat conversion.
Instead of a conventional rear bench, the cabin features two individual MBS rear seats designed to provide a more personalised and comfortable environment for rear passengers. The seats feature electric adjustment, ventilation and an integrated 12-point massage system.
The rear seats also offer an increased reclining angle, lumbar adjustment and back-width adjustment. The massage system provides three levels of back massage together with a base massage function.
This arrangement makes the rear cabin an important part of the vehicle rather than simply an additional seating area.
Rear Passenger Comfort
The MBS conversion extends beyond the seats themselves. A dedicated rear centre console provides additional storage, two cupholders, ambient lighting and a USB port, together with a smart control unit for the rear-seat massage system.
The combination of individual seating, ventilation, electric adjustment and massage gives the rear passengers a more tailored environment for longer journeys.
Interior Customisation
The MBS interior can also be configured with different design treatments.
Available stitching choices include Original and Diamond, while interior colour combinations can be specified in Single Tone, Double Tone or Multiple Tone configurations.
The vehicle shown here features a distinctive red and black interior with contrasting diamond stitching, MBS-branded seating and carbon-fibre-look trim.
Above the rear cabin, the MBS Starlight feature creates a distinctive ceiling treatment using fibre-optic elements integrated into the roof lining.
Exterior Design
The vehicle shown is finished in Grey, complemented by black wheels, running boards, AMG and G 63 badging, quad exhaust outlets and the characteristic rear-mounted spare wheel.
MBS branding is also incorporated into the exterior, including the spare-wheel cover.
Black is also available, and the exterior colour can be customised according to the buyer’s requirements.
